BIOGRAPHY

Myriam Lambert (Quebec, Canada)

Myriam Lambert holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Laval University. Since 2003, she is exploring the theme of memory through photography and installation.

In addition to exposing several times solo, she has participated in many group exhibitions. His works from artists' residencies have been presented including to AVATAR, for the creation and dissemination of audio and electronic arts at the WHITE HOUSE under RALLY THE ART AND AWAY, THE PLACE OF ART PRESENT. During the 400 th of Quebec, the artist centers and RegArt WAGON ART hikers had twelve of his photographic works on the upper deck of the two ferries linking Quebec City and Levis. These works are still in these places today.

Very involved in the arts community, Myriam Lambert currently serves on two boards, or As President of THE WHITE HOUSE and director of VU, broadcast center and production photography. She co-founded EXMURO PUBLIC ARTS, a presenting organization in art and literature in public spaces. In 2010, she was the recipient of a fellowship and creation of the Canada Council for the Arts, a scholarship program for First Ovation implementation and the creation of his work "Chillwind dan hippocampus" and a grant substantial Council for Research in Human Sciences to carry out his MFA at the University Laval. She was also a winner of the regional component of the Québec entrepreneurship for the development of an exhibition in 2003, was awarded the Entrepreneurial Hydro-Quebec, part artist in 2007 and received a grant from the Arts Council and letters of Quebec in 2008.

For several years she has coordinated numerous arts events in collaboration with Laval University. She was also a lecturer and juror for several art centers of Quebec, workshop facilitator and guest professor at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Quebec.

She lives and works in Quebec for AVATAR.
